Beckwith & Kuffel, Inc. Announces Leadership Transition

Nicholas Kuffel and Matthew Kuffel take over the reigns at Beckwith & Kuffel, Inc.; Mike Pierson remains on management team.

Matthew Kuffel has agreed to accept the position of President, Beckwith & Kuffel. After earning his MBA from the University of Washington, Matt took a position as supervisor at Precision Castparts in Portland, OR. He came to Beckwith & Kuffel in 2011.

Nicholas Kuffel will fill the position of Vice President, Sales at the company. Nick, with an MS in Civil Engineering from Stanford, started at Beckwith & Kuffel in 2008, after three years in the position of Designer at Degenkolb Engineers, San Francisco, CA.

Mike Pierson will stay on the management team as a partner and a member of the Board of Directors. Pierson has been with the company for over 28 years.

“This is one of many positive changes in this New Year,” said Pierson, “We are fortunate to benefit from Matt and Nick’s diverse experience and proven leadership – not only within our own corporations, but also in North America and within our industry.”

Lou Kuffel and Gary Beckwith started Beckwith & Kuffel in Seattle’s Georgetown neighborhood in April 1979, and the company has grown to over 50 employees in four locations.
