New Product Focus:
 
Each of our supplier partners will be showing off some of the latest innovations in the industry. This is a great opportunity to see technologies that can help you reduce downtime, improve production, simplify maintenance, or reduce operating costs.


 

 
Classes:
 
We are offering short classes on various topics.  These are offered at no-charge and cover a topics relating to both pumps and compressed air.  Each class is 60 minutes in length.  You can sign up for the clases by clicking the signup button.  The classes and times available are:
 
 

Centrifugal Pump Performance Curves & System Troubleshooting

(Class Objective: This course will provide a basic understanding of centrifugal pump curves, how to read them, and how the curve relates to the system that the pump is installed in.  We will go over what a system curve is and the effects of net positive suction head available in the system.  Finally, using a pump curve we will demonstrate how to troubleshoot problems in a pumping system so you can determine if you have a problem with your pump or if there is a problem in the suction or discharge side of your system.)
 
Times: Class 1 - 9:00am to 10:00am    Class 2 - 2:30pm to 3:30pm

 

Mechanical Seal Piping Plans & the Importance of Seal Support Systems

(Class Objective: Properly supporting your mechanical seal is critical to achieving a long life with lower maintenance costs.  In this course we will cover the most common types of seal piping plans found in industry, discuss how they are set up, and what applications they are commonly used in.  The course will help you understand when a seal piping plan can help to improve the life of your mechanical seals.)
 
Times: Class 1 - 9:45am to 10:45am    Class 2 - 1:45pm to 2:45pm
 
 

Improving and Maintaining Compressed Air System Air Quality

(Class Objective: Compressed air systems have the responsibility of providing pressurized air power to a piping system to feed numerous pieces of equipment that are essential to keep industry and plants producing.  However, the compressed air system is only as good as the quality of the air within that system.  This course will look at the important factors of clean air, define ISO quality levels, and show how to handle moisture, lubricants, and particulates in a compressed air system in order to improve performance, increase energy efficiency, and minimize damage to critical air powered equipment.)lass Objective: Properly supporting your mechanical seal is critical to achieving a long life with lower maintenance costs.  In this course we will cover the most common types of seal piping plans found in industry, discuss how they are set up, and what applications they are commonly used in.  The course will help you understand when a seal piping plan can help to improve the life of your mechanical seals.)

Chemical Metering System Basics

(Class Objective: Chemical metering, mixing, injecting, dosing, and batching are just some of the processes that are necessary in the complex world of chemicals.  At the heart of the process you will likely find a chemical metering system.  This course helps to give you the tools to ensure your chemical metering system is set up for success.  We help you understand the most common chemicals pumped and the challenges they present.  We will also cover troubleshooting basics; from the tank to the injection point.)
 
Times: Class 1 - 1:00pm to 2:00pm
